Hey Alle! I don't have a ton of time to write! But we met up with our new friend Analise this week and she cant speak much German, just Spanish, so we called the Spanish sisters and they explained the restoration and Book of Mormon. She was so excited to have the Book of Mormon and just hugged it and said "Im so excited!". The Spanish Sisters told us afterwards that Analise told them that she had visited so many churchs and religions but they all seemed to be missing something, but she felt something different when we told her about the Book of Mormon. We called her the other day, and in my very limited Spanish and in her limitey German, she told us that she had read in the Book of Mormon, and she prayed about it and felt so good and it felt right. She is awesome! We also met again with our friend Jay, and he is so ready to get baptized! He is working all the time and is so tired, but he is trying really hard to prepare himself for baptism at the same time, and he manages...

La Iglesia De Jesucristo, Yoga In India, And CHRISTMAS

Guten Tag alle! I'm back baby! This week was prettttyyy crazy. This week we had another Austausch (exchange) with Elder Gillis which was a lot of fun. He is now companions with Elder Urban, who was my last companion, so that also made it a good time (I can't say anything bad about them because they are both on this email list).  On Saturday both of our appointments unfortunately canceled, our schedule sorta got thrown into the fan.  But the other day, on the way to the church, I met a lady who was having difficulty understanding me because she couldn't speak much german, just spanish. So with my very limited Spanish and being able to say "La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días", she understood who I was and said that she already recognized the church in the Dominican Republic. The moment I said the name of the church she said she wanted a Book of Mormon. So we exchanged numbers and we are meeting tomorrow to give her a Book of Mormon in Spanish...

Hallo Leute! How's it going? This week was definitely an adventure!   To start with the hard part, I have been having some problems with my ear so the left side of my world for about the past week and a half has been a bit muffled with some ringing to add to it. At first I thought it was the Spirit whispering to me, but it is in fact just me going crazy haha. Not really, I am fine I promise, but 2 weeks hearing voices - I mean ringing - in my head gets a little tiring. But it's ok! Our mission nurse Sister Ballard is a champ! Oh yeah and we were on austausch with the Herne Elders and went to a soccer activity with some members from their ward. I have never seen people so passionate about a sport in my entire life. They are bred from the womb to play soccer, and so by the time they are 5 they are already breaking the ankles of a 20 year old American missionary. Anyways it was a lot of fun, and I actually made a goal, but someone did almost literally break my ankle (it's alre...

Guten tag y'all! This week was awesome!   We met with our friend Jay again, and we invited him to be baptized and he said yes! He is so awesome and even said that he is so excited to tell his wife and son. They are still in Africa, but he said that he would love for us to put the missionaries in contact with them there so that they could also learn about it. Although it isn't often that we find Germans who are that interested in the Gospel, it has been really cool to see how the Lord has led people to Germany so that they could have the opportunity to accept the Gospel here.   There was also a young adult activity here in Dortmund for Halloween and so I got to see some people from Darmstadt and Duisburg which was really awesome! I have met so many cool people on my mission! Also let me just say, I have never been disappointed by Germany's party planning. They really know how to plan an activity. We could take some notes.   We also had a split with the Siegen elders, and I...
