Hallo alle!   This was another great week!    We went over to the Pilz family's for dinner on Thursday along with Sam! The Pilz's are a younger family with two incredibly crazy but cute kids. They were trying to karate chop us and build pillow towers. We were at first a bit worried that Sam wasn't really ready to get baptized, but we just talked about what the Gospel, Jesus Christ, the Atonement, and other things meant to him, and he gave such heartfelt, comprehensive answers. He has such a cool spirit around him, and everytime we talk about the Gospel with him I feel the Spirit so strong. He is getting baptized on sunday!   We also visited the Frankfurt Cemetery today which was really cool. There was a Jewish Cemetery right next to it. We had to wear yamakas while inside which was really cool. I respect them for taking the level of respect and reverence in the cemetery to a whole nother level. The guy at the front asked us a lot of questions about our beliefs having...

Hallo alle! This was a great week!   On Monday we had Zone Conference. We did it together with the youth in the stake, so in the morning we did all of our spiritual/devotional stuff and in the afternoon we did sports and games. It was a lot of fun, and it was awesome to get to know everyone. It is crazy to think that I probably acted the same way when i was younger as all these 14 yr olds chucking dodgeballs at peoples faces and throwing a fit when they get out because the other team "cheated". Memories!   Actually on Thursday after PDay last week we did some street contacting and person after person just blatantly rejected us or didn't even acknowledge us, so we were feeling a bit discouraged. Then I stopped these two guys, and after just asking them what makes them happy in life, they told us to come with them and worship in the park. So we were like "Ok.... interesting...but why not!?" So we did, and they pulled out a guitar and just started singing Christian...

Awkward Teenagers, A Good Listener, And God's Plan

Hallo alle! I'm back, again! It's your favorite part of the week, I know!    Anyways, last week after P-Day we did some street contacting. At one time we were walking and there was a younger guy walking towards us a little far off, but I thought I should talk to him. I then thought I shouldn't because there was a big group of teenagers behind us and I didn't want to be awkward and stop right in front of them all. But I decided to follow the promptings and talk to him anyway. The guy mentioned he had been talked to by missionaries before about 2 weeks ago, but he was sure it wasn't me cause apparently the guy that talked to him was a lot slimmer than me (maybe I have been eating too many oreos in the past 2 weeks) So long story short, after talking about where it happened and everything we finally realized that it WAS me, but after talking to him 2 weeks ago, I lost his number in my contacts and I couldn't find it! He is still interested in learning more about th...

Title 1, Title 2, And Something Else

Sorry I couldn't think of a title since my email is short. I have to focus on journaling since I'm 10 days behind and trying to catch up every day.   Hallo alle!   This week was a lot of fun.   We had an exchange with the APs which was a lot of fun. I was with Elder Oakley, he is a lot of fun. We talked to a lot of people, and I even met a nice lady from Maine!   We also had our interviews with our President Hammon which are always fun!    We also have been helping at the Spanish group on Sunday passing the sacrament and playing piano, so I have been working on my Spanish lately. Let me know if you have any tips!   We had another lesson with our friend Sam who is preparing for baptism and he is absolutely so awesome! We simply asked him if he loved Jesus Christ and his answer was "Yes! So much!". He was also in Metz, France for the weekend and even though he isn't even a member yet, was on vacation, and he doesn't speak French, he still found the churc...
