Frankfurt Germany Mission #10
Hi everyone!
This is Landon's sister Makenna.:) Landon has been super busy these past few weeks and hasn't gotten a chance to sit down and write an email. So he asked me to send out an email to let everyone know what's been going on.
Last week Landon had the opportunity to go 2 hours north to the town of Ahrweiler which was affected by the floods. He loves service and was so grateful that he was able to participate in the clean-up. He said that he didn't know that he could love shoveling mud so much! The first picture below is of the hospital basement he was working in during the week. He said that you could see the line on the wall where the water hit. It was about 10 feet high! The second picture is of Landon and some other missionaries after a hard days work!:) He said that the locals called them minions because of their yellow shirts and blue overalls.

Landon also was able to go on splits( when the missionary goes with a new companion for the day) to Trier. While he was there he got to see some pretty incredible sites like the Cathedral of Saint Peter which is the oldest church in Germany!
(Pictures 3-7)
Lastly, he was also site see around his area of Saarbrucken. This photo is of Ludwigskirche one of the most important Protestant churches in Germany.
