Miracles, Chemical Fallout, And Computer Wizardy

Hallo Alle!

What an awesome week. We have seen so many miracles!

For starters, last Sunday our sister missionaries had to stay home cause one of them got sick, so I had to read Sister Cooleys talk in sacrament meeting. I was worried cause Sister Cooley has pretty good german so her talk used some pretty big words (I can barely English good, let alone German). I practiced a talk a bit that morning, but was still have some trouble with some words. Before I got up to speak I was real nervous, so I said a little prayer, and as I walked up all my nervousness was gone. I started talking (I also had to introduce myself and bear my own testimony) and the words just flowed. I read through the whole talk without hiccups, and that was definitely the Gift of Tongues. I really should not have been able to read that talk and bear my testimony as smoothly as I did without Gods help (honestly, my German isn't THAT great).

We also were able to get to know and become a lot closer to a lot of the young adults. We actually got a text from a less active who said his son wanted a blessing. We brought one of our young adults Diyar with us to give the blessing and it was just such a cool experience. Diyar, who we brought with us, is honestly such an awesome member missionary, and was very bold in asking questions. Now we are in contact with this member we visited, and helping him out, so we're hoping he will start coming to church now. Remember guys, if you're ever going through a hard time, you can always ask for a blessing, even if you aren't a member of the church!

Also last week there was like a chemical accident here in Duisburg and we had to stay in the church for a couple hours and shut the windows cause a bunch of sulfur was released into the air. It smelled like rotten eggs for a couple days. So that was fun.

Also we are working really hard on member work! We made a crazy cool spreadsheet that helps us organize all the members and I must say I don't think I have ever been more proud of a spreadsheet before.

Anyways Ill see ya'll next week!

Tschüss meine Kumpels!
