Quiltting, Lawsuits, And Vishnu!

Hallöchen liebe Leute!

A great week! But this one might be a bit short.

On Sunday our friend Sam came to church and afterwards we had an awesome lesson and he decided to be baptized on August 20th! We are so excited for him. He is so ready to learn and loves the Gospel so much.

On Monday we made quilt squares with the young adults to make blankets for the new babies in the ward, which was a lot of fun, even thoughmine sorta looked like I found it in the trash, but thats ok, I dont think the baby will notice.

We also talked with our friend Višja from Croatia and she has been reading in the Book of Mormon and praying about it. We are so excited for her because she is willing to exercise faith by reading and praying, trusting that God will bless her for her efforts.

We also have had a lot of success this week with contacting former friends in areabook. Of course we run into people who threaten to sue us if we text them again or tell us to get mental help, but there are also some 9eople who havent been talked to in many months by the missionaries who are willing to meet again and who want to learn more about the Gospel!

We started focusing more on member work this week and started going through our member list to call people. My favorite thing is when we call an old german grandma who is so incredibly grateful for our call, and is just glad that she has someone to talk to. As missionaries we want to help bring others unto Jesus Christ, and one of the ways through which we are able to do that is by helping them feel His love through service and our love.

Today we got to go to the temple with Vishnu! Vishnu was a member in Duisburg who was recently baptized and today he took out his endowments. He is such an incredible person and was so happy. The Spirit was so strong and I am really so grateful for the opportunity to go through and share the experience with him.

Anyways yall, thats all for this week. Miss you!
